Commemorative coin of the coronation of Queen Elizabeth II, issued in the same year as the historic event. The obverse features the queen mounted on horseback in ceremonial uniform, while the reverse displays an elaborate composition with the heraldic emblems of the United Kingdom surrounding the St. Edward's Crown. It was the first major commemorative issue of Elizabeth II's reign and did not circulate widely.
