This is a set of 9 Delft blue landscape tiles with an octagonal central field, a type that was especially popular in the Netherlands during the late 18th and 19th centuries.

Type & composition
Square tile with an octagonal cartouche in the center.
In the middle, a Dutch river or coastal landscape with sailing ships (inland or coastal shipping), a house or farm by the water, and some fishermen. Surrounding this is an ornamental border with scroll motifs and floral elements.

Origin & Dating
Very likely Rotterdam or Utrecht ateliers.
This type of cartouche tile is common around 1800–1880.
Popular in representative interiors: fireplaces, hallways, front houses.

The tiles are approximately 13 x 13 x 0.8 cm.
