Superb and rare association of a gastropod of the genus Pleurotomaria and four ammonites of the genus Leioceras. Lower Jurassic French (Aalenian) from approximately 175 million years ago.
This block can be presented upright, without support, on different faces, being free on both sides.
The gastropod has been slightly restored and has kept its original shell.
The five pieces are naturally placed on the block without adhesive.
This block measures 17 cm in height and weighs 1.2 kg.
