Description from the seller
A magnificent and complete tea service for 12 people by the renowned English manufacturer Johnson Brothers. This set features the iconic 'Coaching Scenes' (Hunting Country) pattern in vibrant pink/red transferware, depicting classic British countryside landscapes and equestrian coaching scenes.
This is a rare opportunity to acquire a full set for 12 guests, as most vintage sets are usually only available for 6 or 8.
The set includes (27 pieces):
1 Large Tea Pot with lid (excellent condition).
1 sugar bowl with lid.
1 Creamer/Milk Jug.
12 Tea Cups
12 Saucers
Condition:
Excellent vintage condition. No cracks, chips, or major crazing. The glaze is bright and the 'detergent & acid resisting' colors remain vivid. All pieces bear the authentic Johnson Brothers backstamp.
Note:
Pieces feature authentic Johnson Brothers markings. Some pieces bear the full printed backstamp, while others (such as cups/saucers) have the 'Made in England' mark incised/impressed into the ceramic base, as is typical for this manufacturer's production process.
