AI-assisted summary

Description from the seller

A really attractive and rare fluorite from Panasqueira with an extremely dark body tone that just barely passes some light with backlighting. This piece features a chain of cubic fluorite crystals with octahedral modifications joined to each other by clear quartz points and accented by tiny barrel-like siderite crystals that create a really aesthetic composition. The fluorite’s surface is quite lustrous all around, showing a really complex pixelated texture. From a find made in the early 2000s. This piece comes from the classic Portuguese deposit of Panasqueira, a mine developed to exploit a series of tabular veins of Sn–W mineralization that have produced some of the finest sulfide and fluorapatite specimens in the world and definitely from Europe.
