Vintage Mobil Oil Promotion Lighter – Automotive Advertising – Penguin patent 364149
Description of the lot
Collector's lighter manufactured by Penguin, with a gold-plated metal body and a vertical grooved design. The front features an enameled Mobil emblem, accompanied by the characteristic winged horse (Pegasus), a highly sought-after motif in classic lubricant and gas station advertising.
The base retains the patent number 3364149, partially worn but legible, confirming its manufacture by Penguin. The mechanism shows signs of age and use. It has not been recently tested and servicing or adjustment is recommended for proper operation.
A very interesting item for collectors of promotional lighters, vintage gasoline, petroleum signage or service station memorabilia.
