Russian Roulette” is a collection of works by Japanese photographer Koichi Imaeda. Born in Aichi Prefecture in 1963, Imaeda lived in the Philippines for four years from 1984, China. In 1989, he remained at the scene of the Tiananmen Square massacre in China until the very end, and his series of scoop photographs were published in Time, Life, and other magazines, earning him high acclaim. His collection of works, “Tiananmen Photography Diary” (story feature), also gained popularity (the above biography is excerpted from this book). This book is a reportage describing the reality of the collapse of Soviet Union around 1990 through “people.
