Minolta (=Leica Vario Elmar-R) MD Zoom 3,5/35-70mm | Zoomlens

I am selling the very extensive photography collection of my late father. He was a passionate hobby photographer for 65 years and in recent years also experimented with alternative lenses on digital cameras. He would disassemble the lenses if necessary for cleaning or repair. I am not a photography expert myself, so I describe the lot as thoroughly as possible, including as many detailed photos as possible.

High-quality Minolta MD Zoom 35–70mm f/3.5, a versatile and highly regarded zoom lens from the MD series. This lens is known for its good sharpness, beautiful color rendering, and pleasing bokeh for a zoom lens, partly thanks to the constant f/3.5 aperture.
What is special is that Leica later used this Minolta design for their Vario-Elmar-R 35–70mm f/3.5, which is a nice recognition of the optical quality. An interesting detail for collectors and enthusiasts of classic optics.
Comes with both original lens caps.
