This is an antique French gilt bronze mantel clock from the 19th century. These clocks are also known as pendules de cheminée.
The clocks were a result of collaboration between skilled artisans, including bronze workers, enamel painters, and horologists.
The figure on top, ' The Noble Gardner' of the clock, is a common decorative element of that time.
The clock features a mechanical movement and chimes on a bell.
