Denon DP-47F automatic direct-drive turntable, manufactured in 1985, weighing 8.5 kg, in tested and working condition with very good overall physical state, includes power cord and has serial number 151476.
Description from the seller
The Denon DP-47F is a beloved, fully automatic direct-drive turntable from the mid-1980s, known for its ease of use, reliability, and high sound quality thanks to a servo-driven motor and a straight tonearm. It offers stable speeds (33⅓ and 45 RPM), automatic record size detection, and is a favorite among both novice and experienced audiophiles seeking comfort and performance.
The device is in perfect technical condition with only minor signs of use.
Comes with an Audio Technica element and dust cover.
The Denon DP-47F is equipped with a lightweight tonearm with Q damping.
Frequent resonance caused by the compliance of the cartridge and the effective mass of the tonearm is electronically damped both horizontally and vertically to effectively suppress crosstalk and intermodulation distortion.
The dynamic servotracer maximizes the performance of the lightweight tonearm and results in excellent sound reproduction with minimal noise and distortion.
By pressing the locate button, the tonearm is moved to any desired position where the playback of the record is started.
The DP-47F is also equipped with Denon's quartz bidirectional servo and electronic brake system in combination with a magnetic recording detector.
The quartz locking ensures stable performance of the rotation and precise operation.
Main Features
Type: Fully automatic, direct-drive turntable.
Drive system: Servo-controlled direct drive for precise speed.
Toonarm: Dynamically balanced, straight tonearm for minimal resonance.
Features: Fully automatic (start, stop, plate size detection) and repeat function.
