Provenance
This work comes directly from the studio of Marie Louise Ogier, dispersed at the request of her family. Preserved for several decades within the family setting, it is part of a collection of rare and intimate works, bearing witness to the artist's period of research and pictorial freedom in the mid-20th century.

Trained at the Académie de la Grande Chaumière under Lévy-Dhurmer and Othon Friesz, she develops a modern figurative style, at the crossroads of realism and impressionist sensitivity.
From the 1950s onwards, she regularly exhibited at major Parisian salons – Salon d’Automne, Salon de Paris, Société Nationale des Beaux-Arts – and became a member of several artistic institutions. Her landscapes, like her famous floral compositions, reflect a constant search for light and chromatic harmony.
