Description from the seller
Dear Bidders,
Thank you for your interest in my offer.
You are bidding here on set consists of two wall sconces and one matching ceiling lamp produced by Glashütte Limburg, a renowned German lighting manufacturer founded in 1947 and internationally recognized for its high-quality glass lighting fixtures.
The company is particularly known for its collaborations with leading designers and for supplying architectural lighting throughout Europe during the mid-20th century.
The lamps feature thick, pressed glass shades with a strong geometric, starburst relief, accentuated by warm amber-brown edges. This sculptural glass form is characteristic of German design from the 1960s–1970s, combining functionality with a bold decorative presence. When illuminated, the glass creates striking light refractions and atmospheric patterns.
Glashütte Limburg lighting is highly regarded for its excellent craftsmanship, durability, and timeless modernist aesthetics, making this coordinated set an attractive and collectible example of vintage German design, suitable for both contemporary and classic interiors.
