Set of papal decorations – Leo XIII (late 19th – early 20th century) – Rome
Set of four religious badges including:
• Three Crosses of the Holy Land, model created under Leo XIII (1901):
A 925 silver cross, standard size (approx. 47 × 42 mm), with original ribbon.
Two half-size crosses: one in vermeil 800, one in patinated bronze, ribbons with 'Jerusalem' barrette.
Each cross displays traditional Latin inscriptions (Amor, Christum Crucifixum, Transit Nos, etc.) and scenes of the Holy Sepulchre.
• Cross of Saint John Lateran, model 1903, 1st class, 1st type, in patinated vermeil (approx. 52.9 × 47 mm), original ribbon. The reverse bears the inscription: Sacrosancta Lateranensis Ecclesia Omnium Urbis et Orbis Ecclesiarum Mater et Caput.
Homogeneous ensemble, late 19th – early 20th century. Very good condition, with signs of wear on the ribbons.
