Filigree silver reliquary – Relic of Saint Felix of Cantalice – 18th/19th century
Authentic reliquary medallion with a silver mount (tested), finely chiseled and filigreed, in late Baroque style. It houses a relic of Saint Felix of Cantalice, a 16th-century Capuchin canonized in 1712, recognized for his piety and miracles.
The relic is carefully preserved behind glass, on a red textile background bordered with gold threads.
A handwritten label authenticates the relic with the visible inscription: 'S. Felicis Capuc.' (Sancti Felicis Capucini).
The back is decorated with embossed paper adorned with a gilded floral motif, typical of reliquaries from that period.
