Ravinet d'Enfert - Vegetable server - .950 silver

Meat carving set with an ivory handle, first title 950‰ hallmark with Minerva head, and fork and blade in forged steel, made in France in the early 20th century by the goldsmith Ravinet d’Enfert located at 83, rue du Temple, Paris, between November 28, 1891, and March 26, 1923. The goldsmith's hallmark is partially visible next to the first title punch.

Empire style decor with a handle featuring moldings or palmettes at the end of the handle and framing the top of a thyrsus. A cartouche is placed and framed by a laurel branch, topped with a winged torch. All finely hand-chiseled.
