Description from the seller

Clear glass with pale blue enamel accents, circular foot and matching stopper. Stencilled signature R. LALIQUE FRANCE under the base with an intaglio W for Worth.

Created in 1944 for the Paris house of Worth under Marc Lalique’s direction. The model was marketed in English as “By Request” from 1945. “Requête” belongs to the long collaboration between Lalique and leading perfume houses that began in 1907 and helped define the modern designer flacon. The crisp crenellated silhouette and cool enamel highlight are characteristic of Lalique’s wartime production and are documented by major auction houses and standard references.

This is the large presentation size at 16 cm, scarcer than the small vanity versions and actively sought by Lalique and perfume-bottle collectors.

Stencilled R. LALIQUE FRANCE, intaglio W.

Very good condition, light age-related signs only. Stopper fits well.
