Description from the seller

The Songye or Yembe are a Bantu people from Central Africa, established in the southeast of the Democratic Republic of the Congo. According to the latest available figures (1987-1989), they numbered around 428,000 inhabitants [citation needed], spread across several provinces (Lomami, Kasaï-Central and Oriental, Maniema, Sankuru, and Tanganyika); the towns and cities of Kananga, Mbuji Mayi, Kabinda, Gandajika, Lubao, Lubefu, Lusambo, Samba, Kasongo, and Kongolo host a significant part of this ethnic group. Their way of life is often exceptional; a musongye is capable of adapting to any language easily.
