A decorative French silver caddy spoon crafted by the Parisian master silversmith Claude Doutre Roussel, active at the turn of the 20th century. This elegant piece dates to circa 1895–1910, during the late Belle Époque period.

The caddy spoon features a beautifully detailed handle with floral motifs and a wide, scalloped bowl decorated with a spiral pattern for high-quality sugar spoons used for sprinkling and serving crystal sugar over desserts, pastries or fruit.

Hallmarks
Minerva 1st Standard hallmark (head of Minerva), guaranteeing French silver of 950 purity.
Maker’s mark of Claude Doutre Roussel: initials DR and the symbol known as “double deux”, registered in Paris on 17 May 1895. These marks confirm both the authenticity and high purity of the silver.

Good antique condition, consistent with age.
Natural patina and light surface wear.
