Three very decorative vintage school stools. These stools are in good condition and date from the 1960s. The two (identical) stools with a brown Pagholz seat and a stool with a beech seat are approximately 46.5 cm high, with the seat having a diameter of 30 cm. The weight of one stool is about 2.2 kg.
The stools have an industrial style and are made from steel legs with a seat (for two stools, the seat is made of pagholz, and for one, of solid beech). Pagholz is a natural product consisting of several thin layers of beech wood, impregnated with resin and compressed under very high pressure. This gives the material the strength and ease of handling of plastic, along with the appearance of wood. Many school stools from the '60s and '70s had this type of seat!
The stools are in good condition, with some signs of use from the thousands of children who have sat on them. They fit very well into any interior, and an additional advantage is that they are quick and easy to clean and stackable! Very functional and attractively nostalgic furniture!
The crutches are carefully packaged and shipped insured.
