In excellent condition, including storage boxes and certificates. Made of polystone, hand-painted by craftsmanship at the company Parastone.
The Man with the Bowler Hat (1964)
This portrait of the man with the famous bowler hat can be considered a variation on 'The Son of Man,' where the man's face is hidden behind an apple. Magritte himself said about this:
Behind everything we see, something else is concealed; we always want to see what is hidden by what we see. There is an interest in the hidden and in what the visible does not reveal to us. This interest can evoke such intense feelings that one could speak of a struggle between the visible that is hidden and the seemingly visible.
The parcel is well packaged and sent by registered mail.
