Description from the seller

Antique gilded bronze inkwell with tray – Napoléon III style, richly ornamented decor.

Description
Beautiful antique gilded bronze inkstand, complete, resting on a matching octagonal tray, richly decorated in the Napoléon III style.
The piece consists of a central inkwell with an articulated lid, topped with a turned button, decorated with vegetal motifs, garlands, and relief cartouches, evoking the classical aesthetic of the 19th century.
The octagonal tray features an elegant openwork and engraved decoration, with geometric and floral motifs, offering a beautiful balance between refinement and sturdiness.

The interior of the inkpot retains its metallic reservoir, demonstrating its authenticity and original use.
The set is offered in good overall condition, with a uniform patina and slight signs of use consistent with its age, without any damage or missing parts (see photos).
