Brand history:
History of CF & P Limoges marks and backing stamps
In 1917, the Chabrol brothers, who worked in the porcelain business, associated with Poirier,
He founded Chabrol frères (brothers) and Poirier at 117 Ancienne route d'Aixe in Limoges.
In 1925, Marcel, one of the Chabrol brothers, left to work independently until 1936. His brother continued producing with Poirier until 1933.
Chabrol & Poirier produced tableware, tea and coffee sets, and high-quality tableware. Most of the patterns were completely hand-painted. The pattern name and color were usually handwritten on the inside of the teapot lid. The manufacturing received a 'Grand Prix' from the jury of the Paris Modern Decorative Arts Exhibition of 1925.
Tableware Includes:
1 - Serving sauce boat.
1 - Support, centerpiece Fruit bowl.
1 - Small soup tureen, its cover seems a little bigger. Capacity for 10-12 servings.
2 - Small trays for appetizers, "Ramequins".
11 - Flat serving plates.
8 - Serving plates for desserts.
It does not have deep plates, but this dinnerware can be easily combined with other plain and floral dinnerware.
Beautiful early 20th-century dinnerware from the French house, genuine Limoges porcelain. Decorated with a fabulous and detailed floral garland print, characteristic of the Art Deco style and the early 20th-century period.
All pieces are registered and legible with the Véritable Porcelaine de Limoges mark, along with its distinctive star anagram. Circa mid-20th century.
In very good original condition. Vintage item, not new, over 100 years old. There is no damage, but it's worth noting a small cut and no break on the sauceboat. The tableware is very well preserved, with a great shine and color that reflects the excellent overall condition of the entire set.
