Neapolitan Nativity Scene, handcrafted 'Basket of Tomatoes' made in Neapolitan craftsmanship from the late 1800s. The terracotta technique is handcrafted and varies between pieces, painted with oil to give plasticity and realism. The tomatoes and the basket in rattan are miniature in size and placed near tavern activities and street fruit vendors, in a market area with passersby, to best evoke 18th-century Naples with the Royal Bourbons. The height measures 6.5 cm, width 11 cm, and depth 9.5 cm. Signs of age and small imperfections are present, all visible in the photos.
