Antique Dutch silver sugar spoon, 14.5 cm long, 833/1000 silver, made in 1768 by Jan Cornelis van Hemert of Middelburg, with a hand-ajour cut bowl and a hand-engraved floral motif, in excellent, barely used condition.

This beautiful antique sugar spoon, over 2.5 centuries old, comes from an inheritance of a family from Wassenaar. Edel Erfgoed is allowed to offer this antique sugar spoon on Catawiki for a MINIMUM/RESERVE PRICE of 325 euros.

This is an antique Dutch silver (sugar) sprinkling spoon. The bowl of the spoon is beautifully hand pierced, and the flower in the bowl is hand engraved (see photos). This elegant silver spoon was made in 1768, making it over 2.5 centuries old. Despite its age, the sugar sprinkling spoon is in exceptionally beautiful and good condition. It is a stunning example of craftsmanship.
