Description from the seller

SylvaC kat 5261
This cat is not sleeping.
This cat is looking.
And keep looking until you admit...

An original SylvaC cat figure, made in Staffordshire, England, in the 1950s–60s. The stance is low and alert. Tension in the body. Focused gaze. Not a sweet decoration, but a figure with presence.

The painting is rich and layered. Warm brown tones flow seamlessly into cream. The high-gloss glaze adds depth and life, especially around the head and eyes. This is precisely why SylvaC cats are so beloved among collectors.

On the underside, the embedded SylvaC brand with model number 5261 is visible. A fixed number within the SylvaC system. Authentic and correctly dated.

A minor restoration was carried out on the nose. It was done carefully and is hardly noticeable in practice. Natural craquelé, consistent with age and glaze type.

This is one of those objects that you don't just put away among other things.
This is one that claims space.
At eye level. In a display case. Or solo on a shelf.
