AI-assisted summary

Description from the seller

I am offering in this auction a radio for radio-listening enthusiasts from Grundig Amateur Satellit 210 (Transistor 6001)
This model is rarely available under this name manufactured in Germany in the 1969.

According to online records, the device model is as stated above.
The radio is in relatively good external condition considering its age of approximately 55 years. All original buttons are present, and the original antenna is included and fully functional. I extended it up to the ceiling of the room, and it can still be extended further.
I opened the radio from the back to show its original internal condition, which can be seen clearly in the attached photos.
The battery compartment is clean and has also been photographed.

The device was tested for convenience on the FM band, and it works normally. As for the other bands (shortwave, medium, and long wave), they are difficult to test in Germany.

There is a note regarding operation that I do not know the cause of (possibly due to my limited experience): the radio only works when the red button shown in the photos is pressed. For this reason, I temporarily secured it with a small leather piece, which can be removed at any time and as you can see in the last picture, the power cable is equipped with a switch for turning it on and off, and it works perfectly.

The sound quality when playing music is excellent, as expected from devices of that era. It can be used as an audio amplifier and can also be connected to an external speaker.

What distinguishes these Grundig models is their use of a rotary drum system for switching the shortwave bands—a technology known for its strong reception, also proven in Soviet-era receivers.

The original power adapter is also included with the device.
