Description from the seller

Beautiful shell with an operculum in a dark coloration Lambis Lambis - a genus of tropical sea snails from the family Strombidae, distinguished by their fancifully shaped shells, usually attractively colored. One of its most striking features is the expanded outer lip, decorated with six hollowed marginal fingers. These digits show subtle differences in shape between sexes in this species, as the three most forward fingers are short and bent backward in males, and longer with dorsal curvature in females. The shell's color is highly variable; externally, it is white or cream and often has brown, purple, or bluish-black spots. The interior is translucent and can be pink, orange, or purple. Dimensions: 55/80/145mm. Highly recommended for collectors and interior decorators.
