Please examine the carpet with patience and attention. Each handmade carpet is unique in its design, beauty, and the harmony of its colors, and thus constitutes a work of art in itself.
This kilim is a flat-woven rug made from virgin wool. Kilims often feature fine, geometrically woven patterns. Most often, you can find beautiful, unique pieces in a wide range of natural colors. Hand-treated, dyed, and undyed virgin wool is always used. In Morocco, kilims were particularly popular as wall decorations, but also as very easy-to-maintain and simple floor rugs. Most of our handcrafted kilims come from the Atlas Mountains and the surrounding region, such as the Atlas, and are still made within Berber families or small cooperatives.
