Neapolitan Nativity scene, handcrafted 'Angel' shepherd made in the Neapolitan tradition from the late 19th century (late 1800s). The head, hands, feet, and wings are made of painted terracotta in polychromy, with glass eyes, skillfully worked to give plasticity and realism, as per the tradition of old Neapolitan workshops. The body is made of an old stuffed mannequin, with original period clothing. It is placed near the Nativity scene to announce the Birth of Jesus the Redeemer. The figure measures 22 cm in height, 16 cm in width, and 9 cm in depth. Signs of age and small imperfections are present, all visible in the photos.
