Description from the seller
Spectacular table in the Louis XV or Baroque style, also known as guéridon, with curved legs called 'cabriole' and sinuous shapes reflecting the Rococo movement. The structure is made of solid maple wood (quite rare), with inlays and veneering in fine woods such as rosewood, bois de rose, and walnut. It features rich applications and decorations in gilded bronze, representing refined putti executed in a masterful manner. The top is adorned with a pierced and chiseled brass ring, with one drawer with a bronze handle and dovetail joints, and a lower shelf for additional space. These tables can be used as nightstands, side tables, or display stands (flower stands). The piece is in excellent condition, completely original in every part, having undergone no restoration, only careful maintenance over the years.
