Description from the seller

Eastern-Arabian dagger ('Jambiya'), presumably originating from Yemen or the surrounding region, with a curved, double-edged blade. The handle is made of horn (or bone) and finished with decorative metal elements. The beautifully detailed sheath is richly decorated with silver fittings and traditional patterns. Jambiyas are culturally and historically worn as a status symbol on formal occasions and are an important heritage of the Arab world.
