Exceptional Turkish Milas / Ushak handmade wool room size carpet 10.9 x 7.8 ft - Rug - 335 cm - 240 cm

An exceptional handmade wool Turkish Milas room size rug measuring 335 x 240 cm ( 10.9 x 7.8 ft). Arts and crafts design having bright turquoise / Sky blue field combined with brick red borders as well as octogonal rosettes hooked motifs in stylized floral tree forms with beautiful colour palettes throughout. The design seen in antique Ushak rugs from the region but weave indicates the rug to be Milas. Design however very rare seen more in Arts and crafts rugs of William Morris. Rug is in immaculate condition and been kept stored. Please note since these rugs kept at warehouse and sealed to protect them from moth damage etc upon putting on the floor might have a bit of murky or stored smell but once opened in the room temperature and left for day or two it will be fine! Very stunning rug rarely come to open market since majority of Milas rug have central interlinked design and pale salmon or yellow colours which are typica in these rugs.
