■Description

The KATO N-Gauge “EF510 500 Hokutosei Livery” (3065-1) models the EF510 500 series electric locomotive used to haul the famous overnight sleeper express “Hokutosei.” Developed from the freight-oriented EF510 series, the 500 series was adapted for passenger service and finished in a distinctive blue livery exclusive to the Hokutosei trains.
