Akai - 4000DS - 4 track Reel to reel audio

The Akai 4000DS is a stereo reel-to-reel tape recorder produced between 1973 and 1978. It is a four-track, two-channel device suitable for seven-inch spools. The 4000DS is known for its stable tape loop, low wow and flutter, and clear sound, thanks in part to the efficient motor, flywheel, and the three-head system, including a playback head with a micron opening.
