Stefano Giovannoni
Born in 1954 in La Spezia, he is an architect and designer. In the 1980s, he formed the King-Kong group with Guido Venturini and was one of the co-founders of the Bolidista movement. He has carried out a wide range of projects for Alessi, from playful objects in the 1990s to more recent, minimalist, and refined designs that are also appreciated by the general public. He has received prestigious awards and has collaborated with major companies across various sectors. Several of his works are part of the collections of international museums. The objects he has designed for Alessi include the Girotondo line, which he co-designed with Guido Venturini, and the successful Mami line of pots and pans.
