Mingqi servant sculpture from the Ming Dynasty of China (1368-1644)

Terracotta sculpture with green and brown glaze.
Depict a court servant standing in a green and brown tunic, wearing a court hat on his head and holding a musical instrument.
The head is removable.
It rests on a hexagonal base.
Mingqi are ritual funeral figurines representing a court entourage that was to serve the deceased in the afterlife.

Dimensions: 41 x 12 x 10 cm
Small chip at the back of the head.


Customs taxes are included in the delivery for international shipments.
The packaging will be carefully tailored and secured with confidence.
