Description
Elegant set of three antique decorative boxes, dating from the 19th century, combining hand-painted porcelain and colored crystal, mounted in golden metal (bronze or brass).
The lot includes:
Red crystal box, circular in shape, mounted in an openwork gold metal mount, with the lid decorated with a painted medallion under glass depicting a view of Paris.
Characteristic work of souvenir objects from the Grand Tour in the 19th century.
Dimensions: approximately 4 cm in height x 5 cm in diameter.
Square porcelain box painted, decorated with polychrome floral motifs with gold highlights, attributable to works in the Capodimonte style.
Dimensions: about 5 × 5 × 3 cm.
Porcelain box with bird decoration, hand-painted in a naturalist palette, mounted in gold-colored metal.
She wears under the base a painted mark 'H', not attributed with certainty.
Dimensions: approximately 7 × 5 × 5 cm.
The décors are entirely hand-painted, with a touch and variations characteristic of 19th-century artisanal productions.
