Delftware lidded vase in a classic baluster form, hand-painted in deep cobalt blue with a motif of flowers, vines and a bird, dating to ca. 1955–1970, height 23 cm, width 10 cm, made by Plateelbakkerij Zuid-Holland in Gouda, Holland, with its original lid and in good vintage condition with slight signs of age and use and a fine production hairline inside the neck not affecting stability or decoration.

The vase is fairly hand-painted in deep cobalt blue with a decoration of flowers, scrolls and a bird, rendered in a loose, artisanal brushwork.
