Description from the seller
Four-seater sofa + coffee table, Oriolo model, designed by Claudio Salocchi for Sormani in the 1960s.
The sofa consists of a wooden frame with a veneer in palissandro, supported by elegant metal feet and a series of soft cushions and armrests in white leather flannel (professionally replaced in 2021). The coffee table has the same wooden structure and a glass top with drilled corners to allow for lifting; thanks to this particular feature, it can be used as a storage and display unit. Furniture elements characterized by a design featuring contained volumes and a shaped base that appears lifted and light despite the structural solidity.
The wooden parts of the sofa and coffee table show some imperfections, which are easily repairable.
