The 2BA-221 from Summit Audio is a high-quality tube/transistor preamplifier for microphones and instruments. Thanks to the flexible design of the 2BA-221, users have the ability to blend microphone and instrument signals. Both tube and transistor outputs are available simultaneously.
The microphone used can be optimally adapted to the desired sound conception through an adjustable high-pass filter and adjustable input impedance. The Summit 2BA-221 model was specifically developed for users of HD recording systems, but its flexibility also makes it ideal for live and studio use.
Feature: variable impedance between 100 Ohm and 10 kOhm, variable high-pass filter for mic / line / instrument (Hi-Z), parallel to tubes and transistor output stage +48 Volt phantom power for mic and line, simultaneously usable instrument input via XLR and jack, 9.5-inch rack format with 1U, handmade in the USA.
