Paris by Maurizio Galimberti, signed on the front matter in a first edition hardcover, 280 pages with about 300 colour photographs, published by Silvana Editoriale in 2016, original language Italian with introductions in English, French and Italian.
Description from the seller
Exceptionally signed copy on the title page by Maurizio Galimberti, unique and unavailable online in a signed copy. 280 pages and about 300 color photographs, also including serial images, introduction in English, French and Italian. Black half-cloth binding illustrated on the cover.
The works presented in this book are the result of 20 years of photographic research by Maurizio Galimberti in Paris. Maurizio Galimberti was born in 1956 in Northern Italy and has lived in Milan. He began his career in photography in 1974 with a Widelux camera with a swinging lens, then turned to the practice of photography via Polaroid in 1983. An engineer from the Polaroid company even entrusted him with an accessory that enables image duplication. Maurizio Galimberti assembles serial images by multiplying the number of shots and viewpoints to compose mosaics that then become a single image by virtue of their very arrangement, as here with the Eiffel Tower images; he photographs landscapes, architectures and cities, and he alternates between small-format image mosaics and large-format images, using blur and motion in an impressionistic manner.
Book from my personal collection, in excellent condition (like new), carefully preserved. Shipping is very securely protected and international postal tracking is guaranteed. In case of multiple purchases, combined shipping is possible with a refund of any excess postal fees paid via Paypal.
