Ten LP18 reels in good physical condition, tested and functional, with case included; weight 5 kg.
Description from the seller
Personal collection: register only once; not pasted; clean and dry.
The reels were recorded after the vinyl records.
Weighs 6 kg.
An 18 cm (≈ 7") diameter reel, a format very common in domestic and semi-professional tape recorders.
Magnetic tape for stereo audio recording, with substantial lengths (e.g., up to about 1800 feet / 550 m on the 7" reel in typical models).
Designed for recording speeds such as 19 cm/s (7½ ips) for high quality, or 4.75 cm/s (1⅞ ips) for longer duration.
These tapes were often sold pre-recorded with music content or blank for personal use, and today you mainly find them from collectors or in auctions of vintage materials.
Useful general characteristics
Compatibility: LP18 tapes are suitable for analog reel-to-reel recorders that accept 7″ (18 cm) reels, such as the Sony TC-366 or other vintage models from Philips, Akai, TEAC, etc.
Length and quality: The standard LP18 versions can have up to about 550 m of tape on a 7″ reel, sufficient to record many tens of minutes per side at standard speed.
