Yamila Velázquez (Las Tunas, Cuba, 1993) is a contemporary artist who uses digital intelligence tools. She currently lives and works in Alicante, Spain. Owner and partner of a company dedicated to the sale, representation, and development of artists and artworks, Velázquez combines her business vision with a deep artistic sensitivity.
This young Cuban talent has established himself in the field of digital art, using contemporary media to explore themes related to nature, landscape, and the intimate relationship between women and their environment. This work is a dazzling representation of energy and resilience, where a global icon of pop culture is reinterpreted through a conceptually rooted lens in Japanese philosophy of Kintsugi (金継ぎ).
