Becx, Provinciale Limburgsche Electriciteits-Maatschappij, 1959. 136 black and white and 7 colored photos. Yellow cloth with dust-jacket, 4to.
Dust jacket slightly worn but overall an exceptionally fresh and clean copy. Few loose(ning) pages.
Iconic highlight of the Dutch corporate photo book. As featured in The Photobook: A History, Volume 2 (page 191) by Martin Parr & Gerry Badger: "One of the best designed examples of the period was produced for the utility company PLEM (Provinciale Limburgsche Electriciteits-Maatschappij), the electricity-generating company in the south of Holland, and it is the book's lead designer, Dick Elffers, who is the driving force behind the look of the volume, even though the photographic roster includes such distinguished names in Dutch photography as Cas Oorthuis (Oorthuys) and Koen Lenarts.".
