This splendid Black Forest cigarette case from the 20th century, originating from Switzerland, is a true masterpiece. Nearly 100 years old, the wood has developed a rich patina that enhances its beauty and character. The box is beautifully decorated with intricate carvings on all sides, while the top features a fascinating scene of two birds courting each other. At the bottom, a nest with two birds and eggs.
Original key, in perfect condition, has only a small chip at the bottom back, as shown in the photo.
