Punzone Italiano - Tankard - .800 silver

Bowl or decorative tray in 800 silver of Italian manufacture, shell-shaped. Similar objects are often described as candy dishes, trinket dishes, or centerpieces. It is made of silver and features a distinctive shell shape with scalloped and wavy edges, with raised details that recall the veins of a natural shell. In the bottom left there is a starfish with a red coral cabochon. It rests on a base with 3 feet. It shows signs of wear and patina, typical of vintage or antique silver. Stamps and the hallmark on the back are clearly visible.
