Note: Hibonite is a mineral with the chemical formula (Ca,Ce)(Al,Ti,Mg)12O19, of various colors, with a hardness of 7.5 to 8.0 and a hexagonal crystal structure. Rare, it is found in high-grade metamorphic rocks in Madagascar. Some presolar grains of primitive meteorites are composed of Hibonite. Hibonite is also a common mineral in Ca–Al–rich inclusions of certain chondritic meteorites.
