Bambara objects - Bambara - Mali (No reserve price)

Two different Bambara objects are presented here; First, a well-designed male figure with a fine polished surface.
Oversized body with long arms. Two nails used as eyes. Large protruding ears. Height.; 38 cm. These figures were used on family altars to be used in the communication with the ancestors.
The second object is a old well-used doorlock; used at a Bambara household. This lock is well-worn, especially on the legs, due to its long usage. It is carved in the form of a crocodile. Lenght.; 55 cm.
Both objects were collected in Mali in the 1990`s.
