Very beautiful document signed by Charles-Maurice de Talleyrand-Périgord, as Minister of Foreign Relations.
Talleyrand held positions of power under most of the regimes that succeeded each other in France: he was notably Minister of Foreign Relations and remained so under the Consulate and the Empire.
