Project proposal: Documentary photography and engaged street art. JR, accompanied by Marco, organized the largest clandestine photographic exhibition on the separation wall between Israel and Palestine in 2007.

41 large-format portraits of Israelis and Palestinians practicing the same profession — farmers, taxi drivers, bakers, nuns, teachers, belt makers, etc. — pasted 'face to face' on the wall of Jerusalem, Bethlehem, Hebron, Ramallah, Tel Aviv, Haifa, and other cities.

Large full-page photographs combining individual portraits and urban scenes in situ, showcasing on-site displays.

Highlighting the striking resemblance between individuals whose identities are oppositional in the media — same faces, same professions, same smiles: 'twin witnesses' sowing hope for peace.

Part of the book is a travel journal with numerous testimonies collected on site, logbooks, and photographic atmosphere of the reportage, offering a human, sincere, and committed perspective on the conflict.
